In this restorative class we will learn how to bring awareness to, and connection with, all the muscles of the deep core (think diaphragm, pelvic floor and transverse abdominis). You will learn how to control and coordinate these muscles to work together and switch on more voluntary over time. A reactive system is a safer system!
Through using the breath in a variety of positions you will build natural strength to the abdominal wall, laying the foundations for more effective training. Using equipment such as pilates balls, resistance bands & yoga blocks you will train all the abdominal muscles, progressively regaining your strength and aid recovery postpartum.
This class will also help you understand what your baseline strength is and support your performance in the other classes, knowing which scaling option of exercises is appropriate for your level.
This is not just for beginners and invaluable for every mama, helping you tap into your parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) so allows you to also relax on stressful days!

Core Foundations and Breathwork
In this 30 minute class we'll target ALL your abdominal muscles through ALL directions of movement, improving strength and function while restoring stiffness to your abdominal wall (yes transverse abdominis, obliques AND rectus abdominis).
You'll also break a sweat with more dynamic full body exercises as a finisher through timed intervals, AMRAPS, EMOM etc. progressing to your speed skaters, bear crawls and even weighted exercises such as kettlebell swings as examples. As with all classes and/or movements, this part is optional. Only do what you feel comfortable with and ready for.
While there will be scaling options for everyone, depending on your stage postpartum and baseline strength, this is more of an advanced class and if you are early postpartum or struggling to generate tension in your deep core, make sure you also join the Core Foundations & Breathwork class.

A 45 minute high energy class combining strength and cardio conditioning. Depending on where you are in your postpartum or beyond baby journey (pregnancy modifications can be given), you will moderately to intensely exert yourself for a prolonged amount of time in a circuit training format. Scaling options will always be given.
This class is designed to challenge all energy systems, improve your strength and endurance whilst leaving you feeling pumped!
With Rachel’s coaching on hand, you will learn to perfect functional movement patterns and we WILL get you moving, changing direction and speed. Life does not occur in stationary or one direction. This class will prepare you for real life and the demands of motherhood!
While these classes are full body, programming consists of 4-8 week cycles with a specific focus area to work on and progress further.
Better yet, you can do it from the comfort of your own home with just dumbbells, kettlebells and/or resistance bands.
